SeriousLee Terms & Conditions

 1. SeriousLee Clean agrees to provide the cleaning services for 

     the home as set out in the attached notes hereto and will

     exercise reasonable skill and care in performing the service. 

     Further, SeriousLee Clean will undertake the cleaning

     services in a reliable, caring and trustworthy manner.

 2. The Client has hereby given permission to SeriousLee Clean

     to enter the home in order to undertake the cleaning 

     services as set out in the attached notes or as may be agreed

     between the parties.

 3. In order to undertake the cleaning services, the Client may

     provide SeriousLee Clean with keys to access the home. 

     Such keys shall remain the property of the Client and are to

     be returned to the Client upon request.  SeriousLee Clean

     agrees not to loan, duplicate, or use the keys in any

     unauthorised manner, nor for any reason other than to

     access the property at agreed times for the purposes of

     cleaning.  SeriousLee Clean will ensure the safekeeping of

     keys at all times.  SeriousLee Clean accepts responsibility for

     the costs of replacement keys, locks and any associated

     damage or losses should the keys be lost, stolen or misused 

     whilst in their possession.

 4. Where parking is restricted, it is the Client’s responsibility to

     ensure access. Where necessary, parking passes should be

     provided.

 5. SeriousLee Clean will provide all the necessary machinery,

     tools & materials for the proper completion of the cleaning

     service.  Such materials shall be of a high standard and

     suitable for use in the home.

 6. In the event that the Client wishes a particular product or

     tool to be used to undertake any cleaning, SeriousLee Clean

     agrees to exercise reasonable skill and care in using the

     same to the instructions of the Client and where such

     reasonable skill and care is used, SeriousLee Clean accepts

     no liability for damages caused by or to products or

     machinery.

 7. SeriousLee Clean will repair or replace any items damaged

     during the process of cleaning up to a maximum cost of

     £1000.  SeriousLee Clean takes no liability for faulty fixtures

     & fittings of items in the Client’s house or damage caused by

     them.  It remains the Client’s duty to maintain the

     environment & inform SeriousLee Clean of any changes.  If

     an item is damaged, we will contact you to inform you within

     24 hrs.

 8. All cleaning may be performed by either 1 or 2 members of

     staff.  When working in pairs the duration of the clean will be

     reduced to half the quoted time although the total duration

     will remain constant.

 9. The Client agrees to pay SeriousLee Clean the quoted

     cleaning rate, detailed at the start of this agreement, in

     respect of the aforesaid cleaning services.  The Client will pay

     SeriousLee Clean by the invoice due date or in advance,

     where applicable.

10. In the event that payment for cleaning services is not

      received within 10 days of said clean, then any cleaning

      agreement will be suspended until the outstanding amount

      is cleared.

 

11. Where the Client seeks to temporarily suspend the services

      e.g. by reason of holiday, they shall provide SeriousLee

      Clean with 2 weeks notice.  Any other cancellation of an 

      agreed clean requires a minimum of 1 weeks notice or is

      subject to the full cleaning cost.

 

12. In the event of any changes to SeriousLee Clean’s prevailing 

      rates or service, SeriousLee Clean will provide notice.  

 

13. In the event that additional cleaning services are required

      by the Client these shall be the subject of specific agreement

      between the parties.

14. The contract is for an unlimited term. Customers can

      terminate the contract by giving the other party 2 week’s

      written notice.

 

15. In the event of the Client having a complaint or an item

      cannot be found, the Client agrees to raise such a complaint

      orally, via text or email within 48 hours of the complaint

      arising, or as soon thereafter as is reasonably practicable.

 

16. SeriousLee Clean agrees that it nor its employees shall not

      now, during the currency of this contract, nor at any time

      thereafter, use, publish or otherwise disclose any

      information which, by reason of its character or the

      circumstance or manner of its disclosure, is evidently

      confidential to the Client, relating to the affairs, finances or

      business of the Client, their family or their household,

      otherwise than in the proper course of cleaning duties or as

      required by the law. SeriousLee Clean agrees not to 

      communicate with the press, broadcasting or other media

      regarding the Client, the Client’s family or household, except

      with the Client's express prior written consent.

 

17. SeriousLee Clean staff will exercise reasonable skill and

      attention in caring for any pets while in the property but we

      cannot be liable for any damage caused to or by animals

      during, after or as a result of our cleaning.

 

18. If requested SeriousLee Clean is happy to accept or sign for

      deliveries while in a property and agree to leave letters or

      parcels in a place that can be seen by the Client. When

      accepting deliveries, SeriousLee Clean accepts no liability for

      checking the conditions or contents of the delivery.

 

19. Any variation to the terms set out herein is subject to the

      parties agreeing to the same

Photographic Permission and Use

1. Use of Photographs​

​

SeriousLee Clean may take photographs of the work performed as part of our services for the purposes of documentation, marketing, and promotion. However, we respect our customers’ privacy and are committed to ensuring that any use of such photographs is done with the utmost care and consideration.

 

2. Permission

 

SeriousLee Clean will not use photos taken without explicit

consent of our customer. If you prefer not to have before-and-after photos of your property used in our marketing materials, please notify us.

 

3. Privacy and Anonymity

 

In all photographs taken, we make every effort to avoid including any personal belongings, identifiable features, or information that could disclose your identity or the specific location of your property. Our goal is to ensure that any photos used are presented in a manner that respects your privacy and anonymity.

 

4. Request for Removal

 

If at any time you wish for us to remove or stop using any photographs of your property, please contact us and we will promptly address your request. We will make every effort to accommodate such requests in a timely manner.

Private Work Policy

1. Exclusive Service Agreement

 

All cleaning services provided by SeriousLee Clean are performed by our employees as part of their official duties and under the terms of their employment with us. Our employees are strictly prohibited from accepting or engaging in any private work or services outside of their contractual obligations with SeriousLee Clean.

 

2. Prohibition of Private Work Requests

Customers are expressly forbidden from soliciting, requesting,

or offering any private work, tasks, or services to our cleaning staff that are not covered under the official service agreement with SeriousLee Clean. Any such requests must be directed through the appropriate channels within our company.

 

3. Breach of Contract

Any attempt by a customer to engage our cleaning staff for private work without the express written permission of SeriousLee Clean constitutes a breach of our service agreement. Similarly, any agreement or arrangement made by our employees to perform work outside of their official duties with SeriousLee Clean is also considered a breach of their employment contract.

 

4. Reporting and Compliance

Our employees are instructed to report any private work requests or offers made by customers to their supervisor or SeriousLee Clean's management immediately. Failure to report such requests or engaging in private work without permission will result in disciplinary action and potential termination of employment.

 

5. Liability and Enforcement

SeriousLee Clean is not liable for any agreements, transactions, or arrangements made between customers and our employees that occur outside the scope of our official services. Any private work conducted outside of our company’s purview is not endorsed, supported, or covered by SeriousLee Clean’s insurance or liability policies.
